Arsenal could keep their 26-year-old star after talks over his exit broke down.

Arsenal are finding it difficult to sell some of their players as their deal continue to stall, but the Gunners remain hopeful of moving some stars out.

Arsenal are looking to reshape their squad ahead of the new season, with some players expected to leave the North London club before the end of the current summer transfer window.

Having finished in eight place for the second consecutive time last season, it became clear that the Gunners needs some clearing to do.

Already, Arsenal have overseen the exit of Matteo Guendouzi and William Saliba, with the likes of Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Alexandre Lacazette expected to join them.

With Arsenal willing to sell Bellerin this summer, Italian Serie A side Inter Milan has been the most positive in the deal, having made contact with Arsenal and the player over a possible move to San Siro this summer.

But Arsenal may not be seeing any deal agreed for the Hector Bellerin this summer as Inter’s pursuit of the Spanish star has made little progress, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Inter are looking to replace their Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi who joined French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in a deal believed to be in the region of £54m with Bellerin.

Arsenal are willing to grant the Italian side’s loan-to-buy offer for Bellerin, but talks have broken down and has refused to progress, with Inter now considering to move for Atalanta’s Hans Hateboer this summer.

Arsenal could be willing to accept their failure to reach an agreement with Inter and keep Bellerin for another full season or look to move him on during the winter transfer window.
