The 2021 summer transfer window has been a busy one for many top flight teams in the world, which includes Manchester United. Manchester United has officially completed their third transfer of the summer.
On Manchester United Instagram story, it was confirmed that Dutch winger Tahith Chong will join Birmingham City on loan. The out of favour winger spent first half of last season on loan with Werder Bremen before switching to Belgian side, Club Brugge where he won the Belgian first division title.
Tahith Chong is not assured of many game this coming season due to the strong competition in his position. Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and newly signed winger Jadon Sancho are all key players in the wing position and it will be a difficult decision for Ole Solskjaer to bench any of them for Chong.
This will be the third transfer of the summer for Manchester United after the addition of Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton. Man United are still looking forward to strengthen their defence and midfield position with the addition of Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga.
