The rain that fell in Lagos yesterday left tales of woes in its wake. There were unusual flood levels in most parts of the Lagos Island, leaving many vehicles submerged in water.
Most parts of Victoria Island were flooded with many vehicles breaking down in the middle of the road, leading to traffic gridlocks.
An eye-witness said the water levels in some areas were up to her panties and she had to carefully navigate the flooded streets so as not to fall into a ditch.
